The intention of visiting Gardens By The Bay today was for more peony photography. The warm morning light coming from the direction of the cacti display attracted me instead when I just entered the flower dome. Instead, I ended up doing some impromptu cacti photography to start the day off.

From Sakuras… to peonies. Now on at the Gardens By The Bay. I renewed my membership just at the right time before back-to-back changes in the floral displays at the Gardens. This is my second trip to the Gardens within a week. I am loving the manual focus on my Leica-R macro lens adapted on my Canon R5.

We let our “Friends of The Gardens” membership to Gardens By The Bay lapse during the COVID-19 pandemic since visits were far and in between. With the regulations with social distancing seeing a positive change, we finally renewed our membership, just in time to catch the final bits of the sakura (cherry blossoms) display.
