Lode Runner
Taken during my trip to Changi Jetty over the weekend. This particular one reminded me of the classic Lode Runner game I used to play years ago on the Apple II! I have done some post-processing/desaturation to emphasize the action a little wee bit more 🙂
lode runner! Now that brings back memories of monochrome screens. Sorry to hear about your camera. Hopefully, the insurance pays out and you’ll be able to get a new one.
Thanks Paul 🙂 I forgot about the significance of the monochrome treatment till you mentioned it. Sure brings back memories of the old green monochrome monitors of yesteryear. I am tempted to go back and edit this for that monochrome green/amber effect!
Thankfully, my camera works fine after the repair. They had to change the top and back housings meaning that I effectively have half a new camera (on the exterior at least) with new flash hotshoe, top-panel LCD, rear buttons and command dial. I am hoping that the insurance can at least give me some decent compensation for the trouble and mental trauma I had to go through 🙂
Hi there!
Talking about “Lode Runner”, it has 150 levels and my dear brother breeze thru them all.
Not easy taking at the correct angle, with the “Just Nice” lighting and the right “Timing”.
I tried downloading the Capture One LE, that comes with my 4G Extreme 3 CF card but not able to after many trials. Your advice is appreciated.
Have a good day with your shooting!
Regards

Thanks Philip for your feedback!
I am not sure about the version of Capture One LE that came with your CF card. The one I am using was purchased and downloaded directly from Phase One’s website. I have no regrets using Capture One although the interface is starting to look a little bit dated compared to Lightroom and LightZone. Capture One is supposedly due for a version 4 update sometime soon this quarter of 2007. I am hoping it will be worth the wait!
