Light At The End Of The Alley

This picture of a lit apartment at the end of an alleyway was taken at the birthplace of golf, St. Andrews, in Scotland.

I was on my way for dinner when the warm colours of the sunlight falling on the apartment attracted me. The dark alleyway gave good contrast to the scene. The light reflecting off the windows along the alleyway, together with the doorways, gave an interesting perspective and depth to the shot.
