Kaleidoscope
After a short reprieve from the rainy weather last week, the rain-gods are at it again — it has been raining continuously again for the last 24 hours.
Getting home after a tough day at work, I decided to try out a little indoor abstract photography. Noticing the beads of rain water on my bathroom window pane, I tried a close-up shot on them. Using a wide aperture setting, I threw the streetlights in the background into nice blurry circles. The whitish circle of light came from the passing headlamps of a car in the distance.
Thanks to darling CY for the succinct title for the shot! While not quite truly a kaleidoscope by definition, I think the title is appropriate in describing the colourful patterns and details captured.
Wow! An amazing shot! I didn’t have a clue what these crystalline-like substances were, but they sure were attention-grabbing! After reading your little paragraph, I became even more amazed! You certainly have a knack for making mundane scenes into something interesting and striking! Well done!
Thanks Jack 🙂
