Good Morning, Tenganan
I am back from Bali after a short break. Whereas many people associate Bali with rest and relaxation, with spa treatments and beach activities being the norm, going to Bali with Dad reminds me more of my army days: getting up at 4am so that we can set out before sunrise to our next photographic destination, carrying a “full-pack” (of photographic equipment instead) and my “rifle” (camera)… Our rewards: capturing that elusive shot at exotic places, something that I must confess, is more rewarding than charging up a hill in a military exercise 😛
The above shot was taken in Tenganan Village right when we arrived in the early morning hours of the day.
Hi Eng Loy,
Welcome back home. I believe you’ve had a good trip to Bali, shown in this image. Would it be better to place the image details, out of the image for a clearer read?
Regards, Larry
Hi Larry,
Thanks for dropping by and leaving your comment!
Unfortunately, the template that I am using for vertically-orientated images on my website doesn’t allow enough space for the exposure information to be displayed out of the image. I am forced to therefore squeeze the information within the image. I suppose I can try to experiment with alternative placement of this info but I have not found an arrangement I have been happy with so far. Will see what I can do for future vertically-orientated images 🙂
Regards.
Hi Eng Loy,
Thanks for your feedback. You’ve a good day.
Regards, Larry
Hi Larry,
If you are still keeping track of this discussion, I have managed to write some code to extract the exposure information for each picture and display it in the sidebar for easier reading. The code should work for most of the posts from year 2009 onwards.
I hope this helps for the vertically-orientated images!
Regards.
