“Giddy’up!”
Another view of a local Tenggerese tribe member coaxing his horse to move off on Mount Bromo. I simply love the lighting that greeted us that morning. The dusty atmosphere created such a nice mood that it was worth all the cleaning I had to do on both my DSLRs and lenses after the outing!
Didn’t you bring two cameras so that you won’t have to change lenses on this trip? Somehow the dust still got into the camera? Ouch!
How did you clean your sensors? With a Rocket blower or sensor swob?
This is my first post… and I really enjoy your photos! I contantly browse your gallery to search for inspirations. That “Matrix” staircase photo you took was one of my favorites, and I show your blog with my friends and they were all amazed by how you turn even ordinary mundane scenes into something that’s truly memorable and everlasting. Thank you for the wonderful photos!
Thanks for the support, Jack! Do post more often as I really welcome the feedback.
Well, the 20D and 300D do not have weather seals that’s for sure. The majority of the dust was on the outside of the camera and lens bodies thankfully (in the nooks and crannies of the controls, on the surface of the filters etc.). I only cleaned the sensors when I got back to Singapore. Oh, and I use Visible Dust’s Sensor Brush for the cleaning.
Excellent image, that horse sure does not look like it wants to cooperate. Glad I stumbled here, there are sme amazing images.
Great light Eng Loy. Both horse and man are showing their personalities here 🙂
Thanks guys 🙂
