Frozen In Time

One of the satisfactions that I get from photography is when I am successful in making the seemingly mundane look interesting. I am glad to come across this essay on the web today which shares a similar opinion. The idea of creating something interesting from the mundane was also what I had in mind when I captured this shot almost 2 years ago during my trip to Switzerland. Hope that I’m successful here The ice must have been frozen for ages on the Alps. The thought of actually seeing water that has been frozen for what might have been millennia was certainly mind-boggling.
