Family Outing

I am impressed by the dedication shown by British parents when they bring their children out on family outings. Apart from having to carry their children, the number of things they bring: prams (or “buggies” as they are called here), picnic equipment, food (for everyone), even deck chairs to make themselves comfortable. And they carry them across miles, over all sorts of terrain and by themselves (if it is in Singapore, it would have been the maid’s job! :P).
