We arrived a little late for the Kecak Dance performance at Uluwatu during our recent trip to Bali. The ushers were kind enough to let us sit right next to the performance area knowing that we wanted to take pictures. This area turned up to be perfect in the end as we could see the activity happening backstage even during the performance. The above candid moment made it worthwhile even if it meant that I did not get a good angle to take pictures of the actual dance performance.

Thank you for the voting for Dawn At Kintamani which has been listed as “Noteworthy” in last week’s Photo Friday‘s Challenge on “Breathtaking“. As mentioned in that earlier post, I am not a typical fan of HDR photography, preferring instead to merge bracketed shots layer-by-layer manually by hand in Photoshop. This is another post that I have manually merged (from three bracketed shots) in Photoshop, taken on the same day last year. I hope you like the effect I have managed to achieve 🙂
