Digging deep into some of the older pictures I have taken… This is a sight city-dwellers like me would seldom see. Literally thousands of logs were being sorted and organised at this Nelson Forests facility next to Shakespeare Bay in New Zealand. I love the endless piles of logs and the dramatic lighting (and dust) that contributed to the mood of the scene.
Taken in Horbat in Tasmania, Australia during our family vacation in May 2019. The fun part of getting this shot is waiting for enough sailboats to be out in the harbour and waiting for the right moment so that each sailboat can be captured separately with minimal overlap.
