After Sunset At Busselton Jetty

After Sunset At Busselton Jetty
Busselton Jetty has always been an attraction for me whenever I travel to Western Australia since my first visit in 2003, more than 20 years ago! There is something about the jetty that draws me photography-wise and I am grateful that I brought my tripod along on my most recent trip just a week ago. I love the colours and mood, with the composition enhanced by an unexpected outline of a pool of water in the foreground, likely left behind by an earlier period of high-tide.

Nature’s Canvas by The Beach

Nature's Canvas By The Beach
Our first trip out of the country since the pandemic! We made our way to Desaru Beach by the east coast of the Malaysian Peninsula for a short holiday trip for the children during their short one-week school break. Given the prime spot to catch sunrise, we woke up early only to be disappointed because of the cloudy horizon. Nevertheless, as the sun rose, we found interesting erosion patterns on the sandy beach, which coupled with the sea waves and the reflection of the early morning sun within, made an interesting picture of patterns, shapes and colour.
