Man And Beast
One of my favourite pictures from the outing we had at Savana on our last day in the Tenggar Caldera…
Dad’s friends arranged for 2 horsemen to join us at Savana during our early morning outing. They rode over the Savana while the rest of us started clicking pictures. Tired after all the riding, the horsemen (and their horses) decided to take a break. No breaks for us photographers though, as we continued to snap away. While many opted for a wider composition, I decided to make use of the longer reach of my 70-200mm to capture this. I like the juxtaposition of the man versus beast as well as the bokeh effect I got due to the narrow depth of field. I am really loving the sharpness of this lens: I can actually count the individual eye lashes on the horse’s eyelid in the full-sized original file 🙂
