CY and me took up recreational biking about a month ago. Having not ridden a bike since I was 8 years-old, it took a short while (about 40 mins) for me to get back up to speed and balance 😛 I decided to bring my bike out early this morning to catch sunrise. Alas, the sun was blocked by clouds when it rose. I did like the mood and lighting though. Having no quick and convenient foreground subject for contrast nearby, I decided to use my bike for such a purpose. Although I took a total of only 2 shots on this short trip, I enjoyed the cool morning air and exercise 🙂

A Long Walk Ahead

A Long Walk Ahead
Compared to our longer New Zealand trip, our short little trip to Vietnam was more of a eat-drink-cum-shop journey, meaning less opportunities for photography and scenery hunting. Nevertheless, I managed to catch a couple of pictures I was quite happy with. On our way to My Tho for our cruise down the Mekong River, we came across rubber plantations with their long rows of neatly-planted rubber trees. On our way back through a similar area, we asked our tour guide to stop by the road side for some picture taking. I was lucky just to catch a rubber plantation worker walking right into the distance amongst the rubber trees 🙂
