Moeraki Waves

Moeraki Waves
When planning my New Zealand holiday trip, one of the items I marked down as a “must-see” on our itinerary were the Moeraki Boulders. Unfortunately, the Boulders were not as spectacular as I hoped when we arrived, perhaps due to a combination of tide times, weather as well as lighting. Nevertheless, we did capture a number of nice pictures. Dad has posted his here. For this particular shot of mine, I concentrated not on the Boulders but on the lines and patterns formed by the receding waves as the sun began to set gradually.

Barricades

Barricades
Barricades now line the route from the Singapore Flyer to the Esplanade as intensive construction takes place around the area that will host Singapore’s first ever Formula One race (also the first in the world to be ever held at night). By then, these barricades would of be replaced by the safety ones for the high-speed race…

I am off finally for a hard-earned vacation to New Zealand for the next one-and-a-half weeks. Hope to share with you my photographic spoils when I get back… 🙂

Ripples Amongst The Green

Ripples Amongst The Green
This was taken during my last trip to the Botanical Gardens a while ago. I have been longing to go out to do some photography for some time but have been hampered by bad weather and a busy schedule at work. Nevertheless, I am looking forward to my vacation break in December when I will hopefully get some decent photography done when I visit New Zealand for the first time 🙂
