I conducted a mini photography workshop last Saturday at the Botanical Gardens for a group of amputee patients as part of a series of art activities organised by the SGH Arts for Health programme. In between, I caught some pictures at the Symphony Lake. The lighting that day wasn’t exactly great (I’d have liked if I could have started earlier during the “golden hours”). In the end, I did manage to catch a couple of pictures I was happy with.

It has been a while since I posted a Singaporean street scene 🙂

When CY had an appointment in town yesterday, I took the opportunity to wander around and take some pictures around the Singapore River area. Just when I was wrapped up with my shoot, I came across this scene of a lorry driver stopping by the roadside to make a phone call. I was amused by the irony of the scene since he seemed to be asking directions on a one-way street. I do wish that he had a more brightly-coloured vehicle though. In any case, I did a Photoshop-added, zany-coloured treatment for the fun of it although both Mum and CY thought that I over-did it a little 😛

We’re back from Japan! During our visit there, we encountered sunny, cloudy, gloomy, misty and rainy weather throughout the week, which meant that on certain days, I had a good haul of pictures, while the camera stayed very much in my bag on the other days. The first day of our visit was a sunny one. While waiting to enter Universal Studios, Osaka, Japan, I was attracted by the bright T-shirt of this man, who was carrying an equally interesting bag. Just as I was about to snap off his rearward profile with the interesting combination of colors, his son came into the picture, making a perfect candid moment for this decisive-moment shot 😀
