Speeding Down Charles Grimes Bridge Road

Speeding Down Charles Grimes Bridge Road
If you are wondering why there are so many cyclist shots in my recent series from Melbourne, Australia… it’s simply just because there were lots of cyclists (and bridges) in Melbourne to take pictures of! 😛 While waiting for cyclists to speed along the Webb Bridge, I caught a glimpse of the occasional cyclist speeding down the Charles Grimes Bridge Road just opposite to the Webb Bridge (geotag link). Switching to my 70-200mm lens, I managed to catch this brightly-coloured one as he made his way down the bridge.

As mentioned in my earlier post, I had a blast photographing at the Webb Bridge in Melbourne, Australia. I found out about the bridge while looking through Andrew Brown‘s “Melbourne Photo Travel Guide” iPhone app. I chanced upon this app while searching on the web for places to photograph in Melbourne. I was lucky to be one of the few to respond to Andrew’s free giveaway blog post and was given a free copy of the app. Even if you had to pay for the app, I think it is certainly well worth the US$2.99 charged. Strongly recommended if you want to catch good photography spots in Melbourne! 🙂

“Say Cheese!”

If this was taken more than 10 years ago, you’d have wondered what these girls were doing. Nowadays, digital photography has made it so ridiculously easy to snap pictures that everyone is doing it, accounting for the ubiquitous self-portrait shots that pop up on almost every Facebook page. Taken at Southbank of the Yarra River, Melbourne.
