*begin rant* Why in the world did they name the art & science museum at the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort as the Artscience Museum? I wonder what kind of impression the name will have on tourists. The person who thought of the name might have thought the idea innovative but it suggests to me that Singaporeans do not know how to spell! *end rant*
Spelling (or misspelling) aside, the area is good for architectural photography, especially when the buildings are taken up close with a wide-angle lens!
The Coops Shot Tower is an iconic and often-photographed building in Melbourne Central. An interesting example of building conservation, the completed-in-1890 shot tower was incorporated into the Melbourne Central complex in 1991. It forms the principal feature under an 84m high glass dome, flanked by hundreds of stores.
