Clarity

Clarity
The second theme released for the Canon PhotoMarathon I participated in yesterday was “Clarity”. Released at 12 noon when lighting was the harshest for any outdoor photography, we experimented with a few ideas over a quick lunch but those ideas didn’t work the way we wanted. With just about less than 45 minutes to go till the deadline, I chance upon a public security camera (while walking back to the main event venue) and came out with this photo for my submission. Deliberately throwing everything into overexposure, I exposed for my own reflection in the security camera dome, coming out the above unusual effect.

From Sakuras… to peonies. Now on at the Gardens By The Bay. I renewed my membership just at the right time before back-to-back changes in the floral displays at the Gardens. This is my second trip to the Gardens within a week. I am loving the manual focus on my Leica-R macro lens adapted on my Canon R5.

My sincere apologies for the lack of updates for more than the past half a year… Lots of life changes have taken place and I hadn’t any time to update this photoblog nor to take new pictures.

New abode, new scenes to explore but I couldn’t help re-visiting a shot I did 14 years ago when heavy rain came this evening. Different window, different surroundings and different lights and hopefully a different feel from what I did previously 🙂
