A Stroll By Caswell Bay

We have just returned from a weekend trip to the Gower Peninsula which is just a short drive away from the Welsh city of Swansea. Our first destination upon arrival was Caswell Bay. As it is still off-peak season for visitors, we found parking relatively easy. I am glad that we made the stop as the late-afternoon sun cast a dramatic scene before us. Exposure was tricky given the strong light (look at the small aperture, fast shutter speed and low ISO I used) — the Panasonic G3’s electronic view finder and “live histogram” certainly helped in giving me accurate previews of the shots I was to take.
