Silent Night, Holy Night (in Singapore)
I finally fulfilled one of my “wants” (on my About page) and got myself a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4 L lens… 🙂 With both the 17-40 f/4 L and 70-200 f/4L, as well as a 50mm f/1.8, I think I should be well-equipped to cover most of the photography I enjoy (all except a flash unit and a dedicated macro lens for completion’s sake).
The above was taken on Christmas Eve. Typical nightscene from Singapore except from a different vantage point, this time from the newly renovated and refurbished Marina Mandarin Hotel. All that I needed to complete the shot then was a festive fireworks display! Too bad this will be reserved for next week’s New Year’s Eve countdown instead.
Congrats on the new lens. Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year too, Otto 🙂
This is a great lens. =) A touch more contrast might bring out the buildings alittle more?
