Family Trees
Some greenery to refresh my tired eyes…
The Kapok trees at the Botanical Gardens in Singapore has always served as great photographic subjects. One of my more recent pictures of these great trees have been selected and will be exhibited at the upcoming Ngee Ann Photographic Exhibition 2006. This particular one was taken way back in 2003 with my old Powershot G3. I like the contrast not only in terms of the lighting, but also the contrast of young against old in the subjects.
Wonderful composition and great lighting
I agree with Bob. Very nice. And good to see a new photo from you!
Beautiful landscape!
Thanks guys 🙂
After seeing the countless number of photos of an old person and a baby/young person – this is refreshing! Nice shot Engloy 🙂
Haha… thanks Jem 🙂
I enjoy the contrast in this image – the big and the small – the light and the dark although… the young shoot (?), centre foreground does tend to draw my eye.
Thanks Jeff for the comments. Look like you really went through my blog after coming across here from the PM forum 🙂 Don’t worry, I do not moderate the comments here (unless they are outright spam!) 😉
